Drawing 101

So here is a drawing I did of my laptop. It was fun. I need to draw more often. The practice would do me good. On the last day of drawing class our professor told us that we (all the students in the class) were like well conditioned athletes — but we would need to keep up our training or our drawing muscles would get weak.
I’m inspired by Elizabeth Peyton. She often does paintings from photographs. If she can do it then it must be okay for me to do it. I often see images in the Sunday New York Times to which I am attracted. Maybe next time I’ll draw while observing one of them. I’ll post it if I do.
