I’m ready to sew

I stole this image from a company site called MeS Textiles. They are located in Amsterdam. I’m inspired to get sewing. Very soon Drew and I will have a more normal schedule and hopefully this will mean I will have more time for creating. How do you suppose they sewed these squares together? Please don’t tell me it is with a serger. I don’t have a serger.
