Last friday I got a sneak peek at the Thread Exhibition at the Strawbery Banke Museum. I have to tell you that when I walked into the room where they store the clothing and accessories all the hair stood up on my arms. The Portsmouth Public Library, Goodwill Industries of Northern New England and the Strawbery Banke Museum are working together to see how we can collaborate on programming. The 3rd Annual Women’s Clothing Swap is scheduled for Saturday, May 12 at the Portsmouth Public Library and the Thread exhibition runs from May 1-October 31, 2012. We discussed some really fun ideas that I think you are going to love but I’m going to hold off sharing them until they are more concrete. In the meantime, mark your calendars and start setting aside fabulous donations for the clothing swap. x0
