Rent a vintage Airstream in Maine

VINTAGE-MAINE-VACATIONSIsn’t this great?!  You can now rent a vintage Airstream in Maine and have it delivered to either a campground or your backyard.  Vintage Maine Vacations will deliver the Airstream within 125 miles of Portland, Maine and set it up for you.  Such a great idea if you have family visiting from out of town and you want them close by, but not too close.  🙂

Can I rent it and put my husband in it?

lol. My husband and I often joke that when we retire we want to buy an open plot of land and two Airsteams. We could put one at each end of the property and meet in the middle at two Adirondack chairs. In the morning we could have coffee and look out at a beautiful view and at night we could have a glass of wine and look at the stars. During the day we could have time to ourselves. I think a fire pit needs to be involved.

Is there an airstream still available for renting purposes, not at the camp site?

      Alicia,
I looked at their website. It looks like the Airstream is parked at Chewonki Campgrounds in Wiscasset, Maine. I did find this site that might be helpful to you. http://www.elitervvacations.com/
      Cheers!

Oh man! I just love your campers! I first saw about renting them a few years ago, and have been waiting so that I could rent one for my wedding day. They are really cute. Thanks for providing the link. 🙂
