You know when you see something and you instantly love it? That’s how I felt when I first saw the Ingo Maurer Zettel’s 5 Chandelier. I saw it in a DWR catalog about a decade ago. It’s so playful and unique. Simply beautiful.

It inspired me to purchase a Kikkerland Hanging Photo Mobile Clip and hang it over my dining room table. I got mine at Macro Polo in downtown Portsmouth, N.H.
My son had friends over for dinner the other night. I tore up paper into little squares and left them on the dining table with fine markers. Hilarity ensued.
I’ve noticed that people seem to have a more relaxed time talking to each other when there is an activity like art-making involved. Perhaps you should set up a photo clip mobile over your dining room table for your next dinner party. You will be left with a mobile that reminds you of your fun night and your good friends. 🙂
